SpamDrain launches new graphic profile
As of 11 April, SpamDrain has a new graphic profile. The new, improved site has been developed in a collaboration between Trillian AB and the design agency Ourego. Thanks to the new design and the simpler registration procedures, the anti-spam service will in the future be even more user-friendly and easier to understand.
2005-10-04SpamDrain subscribers avoided phishing attack against Nordea
In the early hours of Tuesday 4 October, 1.6 million Nordea customers were subjected to a phishing attack, whereby they were asked to give out their account codes via a false website. The e-mail that was sent out was stopped by SpamDrain's filtering engine.
2005-06-13Gothenburg company launches self-instructing web-based spam filter
15 June 2005 saw the launch of the SpamDrain spam filter. The service uses artificial intelligence to block spam and viruses before they reach the user's computer. The company behind the service is Gothenburg-based Trillian AB.
